Two Hockey Edmonton Alumni Named to 2026 PWHL Draft Eligibility List

Hockey Edmonton is proud to congratulate alumni Elise Hugens and Emerson Jarvis on officially earning spots on the 2026 PWHL Draft Eligibility List.

Elise Hugens, a former Edmonton Pandas goaltender (now the Junior. Oilers) recently completed an outstanding U SPORTS career with the UBC Thunderbirds. Hugens leaves UBC as one of the most accomplished goaltenders in Canada West history, holding conference records for both career wins and shutouts while helping lead the Thunderbirds to three Canada West Championships. Off the ice, she was also recognized as a four-time Academic All-Canadian and recipient of the 2024-25 U SPORTS Student-Athlete Community Service Award.

Emerson Jarvis, also a former captain of the U18 AAA Edmonton Pandas program (now the Junior Oilers), earned her place on the eligibility list following an ECAC Championship season at Quinnipiac University (NCAA Division I), where she served as assistant captain. Jarvis continues to make her mark at the next level as she pursues her professional hockey goals.

The 2026 PWHL Draft will take place June 17 in Detroit, and all of Hockey Edmonton will be cheering them on every step of the way. Congratulations and good luck, Elise and Emerson!
