Championship Title for Hockey Edmonton Players at the 2026 Alberta Cup

Hockey Edmonton was proudly represented by 7 players at the 2026 Alberta Cup in Red Deer, where many of the province’s top U15 athletes competed at one of Hockey Alberta’s premier development events.

Team Yellow captured the championship, with Hockey Edmonton representatives Fletcher MacDonald (CAC), Ashton Root (KC), Taylor Mowbray (KC), and Ethan Wylie (KC) contributing to the gold medal finish.

MacDonald was also named to the Alberta Cup All-Star Team following a standout performance throughout the tournament.

The Alberta Cup is a key part of Hockey Alberta’s high-performance pathway and brings together top athletes from across the province for elite competition and development opportunities.
